Got placed in Subex Technologies!

Hate to work under a person!

I dunno why? but I dont like to work under any person. I've found that quality in me since I joined here at VP. Everybody here is so friendly, but still I'm not really what I am. Wanna be a free bird. May be it is in my blood.

None of my ancestors, my dad, grandpa as well as great grandpa worked under somebody. They are independent, self initiated. They are great personalities I always remember. You may think that I'm a koopamanduka( a frog in a well ), but I've learnt a lot from them. Now i'm feeling that we should search our roots. We Indians are not exactly what we are 300 - 400 years before. Those Indians were not the ones before the invasion of the Muslims ( Mohd Ghazni & Mohd Ghori ). I feel like why those idiots invaded our country. We were so rich that even after invasion, we were unshaken.Our existance proves that.

As I said before we should concentrate more on our culture than imitating others. We should study the Vedas, Upanishads. Thats really a lot for us for a single lifetime. More than that. But thats all impossible when you look at the present India.

I've purposefully written this in nglish so that anybody who can't unnerstand Kannada can just have a look at it and change their mind. Hope they do so. More of this the next time I blog.

Currently I finished S.L.Bhairappa's novel Anveshana which is really good! adara thirulanna helthini, keluvanthavaraagi. As told by Bhairappa, The main role in this novel is shown indirectly. There is no direct conversation with the lead role ( with a few exceptions, Obviously! ). The novel is narrated by the characters encountered by the main role ( Vishwanatha ). Every character analyzes Vishwanatha from their perspective which Bhairappa has described very well. A nice novel to read.

I've now started Dan Brown's "Angels & Demons". Quite interesting! Thought of finishing it by this weekend!

Coming back to English, was reading "Rage Of Angels" - an old novel of 1970s by Sidney Sheldon. It is nice. Once readable. I Feel reading a novel in Kannada is more interesting than any other novel mainly for two reasons.

1. Nobody can understand better in any language other than his mother tongue.
2. All English novels I read were only suspense concentrated. May be there are novels which are more valued but also I feel reading novels by Bhairappa, Karanth is filled with more moral values.

Characters in novels which I liked was

• Jennifer Parker - for her wit.
• Robert Di Silva - for his arrogance and competition with Jennifer
• Joshua Adam Parker - A nice little boy who dies early unfortunately.
• Ken Bailey - for his helping nature.

Another thing abt these English novels is they concentrate more on sex un-necessarily( except for a few ). They should try writing something other than that whenever possible.

Thought of reading some XML or ASP.NET but couldn't even touch the book. Think of leaning to ride a bike, not interested. Will try to learn riding within this vacation.

Eevaththu CN exam aaythu. Did okay! not good, not bad! A hell lot of confusion between each layers to study. Syllabus was more. Couldn't complete the whole syllabus as well today's paper.

After finishing my daily duties, got ready to go to college. Met with all friends after say 20 days. Then our gang went to a cool place to read, but kept on talking about our holidays. Meanwhile we used to read something and would get confused with other layers. The exam was OK, not to the extent of CG which was the worst paper ever attended by me. Completed for 88 - 90 marks. Hoping to get 60( if dabba nann maga invigilator grants! Huh! ).

Came home. thought of studying CS (Client Server Architecture ) as IP is a bit easy. But couldn't ever read uptill now. Will try to do that atleast after lunch( hope I dont get sleep within 12 ). See you for today!

Things are not going as I think...

For me, today things are not going as i thought. Thought of completing Transport Layer by today! but i'm afraid of completing it. There was a typo error in yesterday's post! "event" instead of "even". Sorry for that!

A section behind to complete Transport Layer. Not much done except reading for today. Started at 10 was almost reading except for lunch and snacks. Over are those days when I used to read at least 25-30 pages per hour. Now are the days where i struggle to complete 10 pages. I dont know why?

Trying to read CN and to some extent satisfied. Came to know about Benny yesterday in Ravi Belagere's Crime Diary. Saw his bundle Leelas on the TV and wondered why people event in this .NET world are believing such foolish, superstitious things.

Unfortunately for me he is coming to Bangalore and that too near my residence. (Jakkur AirField, Near Byatarayanapura). Hope they invite him with a black flag!
